The Bulgarian Registry Agency has provided guidance regarding disclosing the ultimate beneficial owners of Bulgarian companies. The guidance gives examples of companies that don’t need to declare their ultimate beneficial owners. The examples include sole proprietors, solely-owned joint stock companies and solely-owned limited liability companies the shareholders of which are natural persons. The full text of the guidance of the Registry Agency can be seen under the “News” section on the Commercial Registry’s website (in Bulgarian).
